To ensure each bride receives a dedicated, uninterrupted experience, we charge a £20 appointment fee to secure your booking. 

This fee is fully redeemable against your wedding dress purchase made with us. 

Our appointments are private and carefully prepared in advance, so this helps us protect time for genuinely interested brides and maintain a high level of service. 

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule your appointment. 

You and your guests will have sole use of the boutique for 90 minutes.

We can welcome you and up to 3 guests in the boutique.  

Trying on dresses should be a fun and enjoyable experience so bring people who will support you and be your biggest cheerleaders. If you would rather come on your own for a private fitting then there is absolutely no need to bring any guests at all.  

As we want the experience to be relaxing and focused on you we recommend that any guests you do bring are aged 10 and over. Do contact us directly if this may pose any issues and we will accommodate you as best we can.  

Currently we have dresses in bridal sizes 8 – 26.  

It is very common for wedding dresses to come up smaller than the size on the label so please do not put emphasis on a number sewn into any gown you try.  

You can also generally have unaltered dresses taken in by 2 dress sizes or out by 1 size but it is always advisable to consult with a seamstress before committing if you are in doubt.  

Most of our gowns range from £600 - £1,200. We may occasionally have sale items or gowns that are below £600. All are up to 70% off the designers RRP.

We do not offer in store alterations but have a fabulous seamstress that we can thoroughly recommend.  

If you’ve fallen in love with a dress but want to ensure that the alterations you want are possible before you commit then we can hold the dress for 72 hours for you to be able to make those enquiries. 

A lot of our dresses have built in bra’s but if you have specific shapewear or underwear you wish to wear on your big day please bring that to your appointment. Otherwise nude underwear is ideal!  If you know what shoes you will wear on your big day, or have some shoes with a similar heel size, bring them along too.

As all our dresses are ‘off the peg’ dresses which will be worn by a bride on their wedding day we want to keep them in best condition. Due to this we kindly ask that you do not apply any form of bottle or spray tan within 3 days of your appointment and that you have showered since any application.

Mayfield bridal is on the first floor of a beautiful building in the picturesque village of Hamble. There are 2 steps up to the main door then a flight of stairs up to the studio. Please be aware that there is no lift in the building.

Yes there is off road parking next to the building and free, unrestricted parking on the road opposite the entrance.
